Price looks ok, but the "gets over 50mpg" claim is optimistic, kinda implies you'll regularly see 50-55mpg. I've got the 115ps variant engine and 45-47 mpg is more like it. Ford quote something like 51mpg but it's difficult to get unless your entire driving experience is getting a tow off a lorry on the motorway at 60mph, on a clear day with the wind behind you. Downhill.

As above, 50mpg if your lucky, more like mid 40's.

I part-ex'd dads 115bhp Ghia Focus TDCi in last year with 146k miles on an '02'. Gave me £1100 in May 09 for it. The only problems we had were an imbalance of the rear brakes (probally due to using too many budget tyres), new clutch & flywheel & the usual wear & tear parts. AS it was a Ghia model, it did suffer with the usual rust on the boot.

Mine's the 1.6tdci and i always see over 50mpg, normally hovers around 54mpg. That's on V-Power, on regular diesel it drops to 51mpg and feels a lot more numb.
