Guys, Urgently!

I've got a 05 reg Ford Fiesta 1.25.

I've currently got steel 14" wheels, with 4 nuts (studs).

I'm thinking of buying four 17" Fiesta ST alloys from a 07 reg Fiesta ST.

Does anyone know if these 07 reg ST alloys will have the same 4 nuts (studs) as my 05 reg?

Many thanks!

Thanks Dave.

How can I lower the suspension of my car?

Do I have to change the springs fitting shorter ones, and does it cost much?

Thanks for the prompt reply!

Cheers!

Yes...

Possibly...

You might be able to fit standard ST Zetec-S Shocks and springs, not sure though...

Google is your friend...

I think the Zetec-S wheels would look better - the ST ones are too big IMO

The wheel NUTS are different from steel wheels to alloys.
Firstly they are not studs, and the alloy wheel nuts are bigger in diameter and have a free spinning ring so as they do not pull through the alloy.
ST wheels would look good on your car, not too big at all, they would fill your arches perfectly. You will need to buy lowering springs though as it will sit higher on 17s compared to 14s, you can purchase Eibach springs from your local ford dealer or on-line.

I had 14" alloys as standard on my 07 1.25 Fiesta and replaced them with 16" non-ford wheels, which looked great, but I do think if I went any bigger it would have looked silly without being lowered.
