st170 engine cambelt change

hi
im about to stick an st 170 lump in a mk2 escort.
has anyone got any instructions how to change the cam belt
funny tensioner in the kit!!
not like a silvertop zetec at all and i dont want to buy a haynes manual for one job!
any help would be appreciated!

You need the tool (only about £11 to buy a bar & a pin) fit the cambelt as a normal silver top though, locking the rear of the cams with the bar & undoing the camshaft pulley bolts so they can turn when you tension the belt. Iirc the varible pulley needs to be very tight @ 120nm so you will need something to hold the pulley while undoing/ tightening it
