late model fiesta st buckling hubcaps

a few months ago we lost a hubcap, not the end of the world, easily replaced

but i've just noticed that two of the other hubcaps are buckled at the edges :
they each protrude from the wheel adjacent to their internal alignment tab

i'm guessing that we're going to lose two more hubcaps at some point

maybe the supplying garage didn't notice the alignment tabs and forced the hubcaps on, weakening them ?

has anyone else had this ?
anyone care to check their hubcaps ?
any solution ?

It's definitely something I've seen before. I would say your suggestion of someone not utilising the alignment tab isn't far wrong.

Between this issue, and them easily falling off/getting stolen, the ST caps have always been a bit of a pain.

They are not much cop & often fall off they are made of a soft plastic the buckles easily when they are removed
