hiya

i have a 2002 focus st170, i have put a clutch in it about 6 months ago as didnt have the money to throw at a dual mass flywheel aswel at the time, the fly wheel is now chattering, i have looked around and for a new standard clutch kit with flywheel its going to cost about £600, i am trying to find a solid light weight flywheel clutch kit ?? i have found 1 but is £800 and is a private seller so dont want to end up stuck wit a £800 part that doesnt fit, it would be my luck haha! does anyone know of a shop that sells them?? cheeper if pos? lol

Thank you for your help

These guys http://www.speedshack.co.uk/Under%20construction.h... used to do a solid flywheel for the St170 their websites not great at the mooment but worth a call.

I would suspect that any solid flywheel & clutch for a 2000cc Focus would fit ok as the St engine is only a Zetec engine. May be worth looking into if a standerd Rs clutch & flywheel will fit ok?? quite a few knocking around second hand due to owners uprating them. The only part i would be unsure of is if the driven plate will fit on the gearbox spline.

If your going to a solid flywheel you will have to replace the clutch again as the stock St170 clutch will judder like crazy with a solid flywheel.

I've got a Sachs sporting clutch and cover for sale for a black top - as good as new.
£500 from Sachs. £100 from me :-)

flywheel not included.
Dunnell will do you a light flywheel.
ST170 engine is basically the same engine as a blacktop, so the sachs sporting clutch kit will fit both.
