2000 Ford Fiesta Zetec S 1.6 - MAF Sensor

Hi all,

I am picking up a Fiesta Zetec S on Saturday morning. The car has had a new MAF sensor fitted and i am being told that it needs to be reset? Is this person getting confused with disconnecting the battery and resetting the ECU? Surely if the MAF sensor is new it doesnt need 'resetting?'

As you say, I think he's getting confused. Disconnecting the battery to reset the ECU will be fine.
