Aux port - Focus Stereo

Hi,

Picked up a Focus MY06 Zetec yesterday for the work commute and the stereo has an ‘Aux’ button. However, I can not find the connection for this? I probably have not looked hard enough, but does anybody know?

probably in the glove box but i am not sure.....

I would also say as above, open the glovebox (on my 09) its at the top by the handle.

Cool, thanks... i will have a look... very impressed with the car (sorted chassis), 75MPG on my drive in this morning... very different to my weekend toy which returns about 20MPG on the motorway...

On mine (07 ST3), the aux port is in the glove box, top left on the plastic surround.

+1 Glove box, top left, usually has a grey surround.

Aparently its not been fitted... My neighbour (a ford mechanic) is going to do it for me... thanks peps...

Thats a bit weird. It should come as standard on all Ford models from 2004 onwards. Dont quote me on it though!

If not, if your trying to connect up your ipod through the AUX port, buy a high quality FM transmitter instead, but avoid the cheap ones as they are pants!

As far is I know - after speaking to a dealer - the aux port in the glovebox was only fitted to Ghia/Titanium models and you have to have it fitted to all other models - its the same with my Zetec - I am planning to get the work done at some point as currently I only have a blank plastic plate where it should go.
