My sis had one for a while but I don't know how good it was on fuel, I think 50's are likely.
The headline figure for the 1.6 is 72.4 IIRC and this is only possible if you drive like a saint, but mid 50's from normal driving were what I averaged. Even when pushed very hard for a long period of time 2/3 hours it never dropped below an average starting with a 4.

Filled it up the other day - I managed 50.4 mpg. Very disappointed. Book claiming 64 (I know not to turst these figure) but I would have thought 55 would have been achieveable.
I did 440 miles on that tank and I'd say about half of that is steady motorway cruising at 70 mph. The majority of the rest of the milage was on country lanes keeping it between 50-60 mph with very little heavy braking/accelerating.
I know it's winter so economy will suffer slightly but do I have cause for concern?
