My new Racing Puma
Discussion
Places I'd recommend joining are:
Pumapeople and
Projectpuma
There's also an FRP owners club but I don't know the name unfortunately. You'll need to know your frps number and show proof you own one before you can join that one though.
Common things with regular pumas are cambelt, wishbones and bushes and rust.
I've not owned an FRP myself but have a few mates who have them. They bang on about them all the time and how good they are... I want one!!!
Enjoy your new car

We had a 1.7 and it was great fun - the best car I've driven when you consider price against fun factor. By all accounts the FRP's sound liek superb cars and I'd love to have a shot in one after having ours.
As mentioned above, watch out for rust, timing belt etc. In addition, beware the front wings - they're not easy to come by if they get bent.

thanks guys il have a look into the websites, yeah the front bulk head is rusty and so is the joins where the rear quarters and sills meet, as for the drive it is good yeah, handles great, breaks great but not too much power, pokey for a 1.7 mind, im in love with the seats too, its got loads of stone chips, im going to smarten her up, near full paint job and near full service then its back up for sale !!
