Ford Focus 2003 - Reversing Light

Looking for a bit of advice, regarding a reversing light fault on a 2003 focus.

Reverse light isnt working despite trying 17 different bulbs. I have tested the connections, and there is power going to the reversing unit where the bulb sits.

Any idea's guys??

If you got power going there then it could be a bad earth or corroded connections.
Clean the connections where the bulb touches, base & side, with a screwdriver.
If still no go then could be a break in the earth wire or the bulb holder.
Also check no water is getting in to the lamp to cause corrosion.

It was full of water. Seems that water is getting inside it some where/some how.

Have just replaced the bulb holder part as well. Still getting power when tested but bulb still not lightening up??

Will have alook at the earth etc tomorrow.

If you use a circuit tester with a beeping function then you can check for continuity on the earth circuit.

Reversing light now working. Very strange!
