Mark 1 Focus - Wipers issue (or not)?

I'm sure with my last focus that if the wipers were going and I turned off the ignition they would still return to their "home" position. The same goes for if I turn them off at the stalk with the ignition on. Am I remembering right or is there an issue I need to get fixed? Cheers.

No if you turn ignition off, yes if you turn stalk off but it can get stuck sometimes.
