93 RS2000 fans staying on??

Hi All
As per the title really,
Since getting the car back on the road i have noticed the fans come on as soon as the ignition is turned on any ideas? as its F**in freezing outside so it would be great to go straight to the problem.

Just a thought i may have a bad earth as the oil light comes on very feintly but not all the time and was wondering if it could be on the same earth point?

suspect its the fan switch ,had the same thing on my cossie

pull the plug off of the temp switch and if the fan stops, the switch is stuck on.
