Escort Mk5 van wiper fuse blowing??

Ive got a Mk5 escort van and i keeps blowing the fuse for the front wipers,Ive replaced the wiper stalks,wiper motor,wiper spindles and complete fuse board. But it still keps blowing the fuse so it must be a short on the wiring loom somewhere.Ive heard that on the Mk5 escort this is a common problem so the loom must rub out somwhere causing short to earth. Has anyone ever had this fault and got to the bottom of it??
