Anybody ever found the clutch to slip on full torque in a Focus ST? Mine has recently started to do it even though its been trouble free on a bluefin remap for 9 months. It doesn't seem to do it all the time though. Had a quote for £950 fitted from Kernahans of Witney for an ST clutch or £899 for an RS one!

Cheers

For that you might as well go for an RS clutch and fly mate. Give SCC Performance a call, they're based out of St Albans and do all the work on my RS

Kernahans have just fitted ny Mountune T260 conversion and the standard clutch, although 40 k miles old, slipped straight away. The standard clutch 'should' take the power of a mild remapping ,if it is in good condition. Luckily for me, Mountune do a special offer for Mountune owners of £650 for an RS clutch, flywheel and release bearing upgrade, which is what mine is booked in for.
Replacement clutch is the way ahead and an RS one is the better option.
