Hi, my wifes mondeo diesel 130 has develooped a fault. It has gone very lumpy and the glow plug light is flashing.
Happened all of a sudden on saturday. Any ideas regards James

That's great thanks, got it booked in with auto electrician tomorrow.

It has number 3 injector replaced just before. We brought the car, the auto electrician said most likely injectors lost their code or one of the others need replacing.

Probably either Cam Position Sensor needs replacing:

Depends how handy you are with spanners, but at least this little bit of knowledge might stop you getting ripped off by an unscrupulous garage.

Go to someone who reconditions them in house. You'll save 50%ish on Ford dealers.

Car got sorted on wednesday, injector 4 was above the knock threshold. Its been re coded and all is well again.

Its got loads of pull and mpg is back up in the mid to high 40's.

A figure I can only dream about in my car getting 15mpg lol.
