Focus ST car tax

I'm looking at getting a facelift ST so 08/09, but looking online there seams to be a bit of conflicting information regarding how much car tax is going to be 2011/12.
One site says £245 while another has it down at £300. I know the car is a band K which is the threshold before it goes up drastically.
Can anyone give me an answer on this?

Edit; Was climate control an optional extra? As the ones I've seen on here and autotrader all seam to just have aircon.

Reminder for my wife's 2006 ST dropped thru' the door last week.... £245. Can't see the face-lift being any more expensive as my MK2 RS is the same price.

Climate was an option on ST / ST-2, definately. Think that's the same on ST-3 too, but not 100%.

The climate control (digital screen etc) was an option I think on all ST's.

My ST is a 2007 '07' and its £245 for the road tax.

The road tax for our ST looked like going up hugely. Then the government did a back track and dropped the cost for 2010 and 2011. It's meant to be temporary, but I've seen nothing concrete on exactly when it goes up again.

It's 224 g/whatever it is - the really expensive band starts at 225!

I see what you mean. It's the higher cars that were dropped to that Band K temporarily. Before 23/3/06 and older ones.
