Ka engine leak.

Hi Guys & girls,
I am after a bit of help, girlfriends mum's Ka has developed a leak in the engine bay.
I have tried to find out where from and have figured I know nothing about Ka's.
I have put water into the expansion tank and left the engine to run. seems to be very little water loss from the system when just left ticking over, but upon turning it off I noticed on the floor rusty coloured oily water. it seems to be coming from the underside near the Dipstick, I checked the oil there is a bit of dark oil scum round the opening but not a lot.
I have been looking for picture of the area but can not find any.
If it will help I will take some pictures when she gets home. I was thinking of using some radweld to see if that helped (as I know nothing)
Any ideas?
