If I were to buy a catalyst from a scrappy for a Fiesta, how would I tell if it was in good condition?

Mine is already broken due to a misfire and I want to replace it, but not end up with a dud.

Thanks

False economy IMO. Find out why yours broke first? Old age, misfuelling? You can buy replacements online for about £60, I replaced one on my old car with one about 5 years ago and it has been fine since. You do not need genuine from a dealer ££££££££££££££££££! (the old one broke up)

I had a misfire because of a broken coil pack.

All fixed now.
