Hiya I own a ford fiesta 1.25 mk5. I'm trying to find a exhaust system or just a back box is it worth getting the hole system? Looking to spend 200 also are the piper cross air filters any good? Thanks in advance

You'll need two holes, one at the front and one at the back.

You're wasting your money on an exhaust system, and a fancy airbox on a 1.25 Fez, unless you specifically want to sound like a chav. 5% improvement on 60hp is pretty pointless, you'd just be better off folding down the back seat to improve acceleration.

Save up and fit a 1.7 puma engine instead. Or buy a quicker car.

If it's the noise your after then save your money. Drill 5 holes in the lower (pre filter) half of the air box, then pour a litre of petrol into your backbox, drop a match in and burn the baffles out.

And there you have it, the same effect as spending probably £400 on bolt on mods.

Agreed. Just save up, keep out of trouble (insurance-wise), and when you can afford, ditch the Fiesta for something with a little more "go".

Don't waste your cash on the huge number of "tuning" products out there for what would be a very marginal increase in power at best on such a small engine. smile
