foed fiesta mod problems :-(

hiya, i have a ford fiesta 1.4 tdci 2007 , and recently had it remapped and fittied with a K&N induction kit for the make,but now i keep getting the engine warning light on, and the garage said it was the air flow meter not working do too the remap and induction kit, is this true if so how can i fix the problem? all the garage did is switch of the warningg light :-/ cheers for any help given folks.
