Morning all

Can anyone tell me what the rear seat space is like in a Puma.It would only be a 9yr old and occasionally her mate travelling in the back no adults. The car could be used for longer runs though so an additional question about how they cope with longer trips.

Thanks

Should be fine for that age, unless they are exceptionally large. A bit dark possibly.

I remember going on a test drive with a couple of m8's & they got in the rear OK. Granted not 6ft built lile brick st house types but still got in OK.

She is tall for her age but fairly skinny like her old man.

As for long trips, not a problem at all.

I drove my 2 year old 1.7 from Surrey to Perthshire for the Colin McRae stages rally

in 2000.

Obviously any Puma now is considerably older and leggy but if you choose carefully

you should get a good un.

There is a millenium yellow for sale near me ,and i would snap it up but i dont need 3 cars

in the current dodgy recession situation smile

Just get the Puma, it's a great car. I found a whole car for the same money i spent on just an aluminium engine lid for my classic 911.

A friend took a high mileage Puma from Edinburgh to the ring (800 miles), thrashed it to within an inch of its life all weekend then drove home in one go on the Monday.

We were an hour from home when he had to stop with cramp in his leg, but the car was still working. Long journey shouldn't be a problem.

Finally got round to looking at one and took my kid along with me.Really surprised by the space in the rear for her.

Anyway it was a very clean year 2000 car which appears to have been looked after both mechanically and bodily. Its done around 60k with history etc and up for 2k with a dealer. How does the price sound people ?

Yes that info would help wouldnt it getmecoat

Its a 1.7 has had some repairs to the rear wheel arches but done sympathetically.Cambelt and waterpump have been done also.Interior was pristine with original Ford mats I noted.

Hi,

I think that £2000 seems a bit high for the car mentioned, if you take a look at the classifieds they can be got for half of that.

Buy on condition rather than mileage. smile
