Classic Ford gearbox ??

I have put this on the PH Classic Cars..etc forum. but it may be more appropriate to post it on here....

I have recently acquired a Ford gearbox ( just for the box internals for my old Elan ), and therefore I do not need the bell housing/tail section...









Does anyone know what car this gearbox was from originally ?
