Goodwood Sprint - Saturday 22nd May
Discussion
Just a note to say that several TVRS including the 520 and Steve Coxes 5 litre V8S will be sprinting at Goodwood on Saturday. Practice starts at around 0900 with the timed runs starting at around 11-1130. Entry is free and there will be a real mix of cars there to keep any petrol head amused.
No restrictions on who can come. You don't have to have a TVR - it is not obligatory but you will see TVRs and other cars being driven the way they were designed to...
Parking in the Paddock will be difficult as there are 100+ competitors and there is no set aside/reserved parking. It is quite informal. If there is no space, there is parking on the other side by the cafe and you can walk over.
Mark and Andy from Tower View will also be there if you want to pick their brains on matters TVR.

PS If you bring bibles... I'll sign them as well. Providing you don't then sell them on ebay
Unfortunately Steve, mine is no longer a prime example, both the S & Griffith bibles have seen their fair time in the garage covered in oil, muck etc etc ...
Hardly good stock for ebay
For those of you who have not attended one of these sprints i can tell you they are a superb FREE day out, we went to both Goodwood sprints last year and had more fun watching these guys (especially when it was wet eh Steve
) Than watching 100 grand prix, unfortunatly i will still be at Blackpool on Sat other wise i could have seen a convoy being sorted

Normally go to both TVRCC sprint rounds here but can't make this one
, I can second everyones tale of it being a good cheap day out
. Technically a free day apart from the petrol/pies/burgers
.
If you check out Luca' site you will see video's of lasts year, but they don't really do it justice, highly recommended.

Goodwood is a great day out to compete or spectate, but as an alternative, you may be interested in Loton Park on Saturday 22 May which offers the following entrants:
Stewart Lobley Vixen
Andrew Farrel T350T
Steve Dennis 3000S
John Pollard 3000S
Marcus Clay Griff 500
Simon Bridge Griff 400(1965)
Jeff Allan Cerb 4.5
David Sharp S3C
Adrian Duggleby V8S
Dave Didcock S2
Steve Lyle V8S
Mathew Oakley Griff
Hilary Pollard 3000S
Peter Sims Vixen
I think entry is £8, but you do get a beautiful location and a commentary thrown in for that. Loton is 9 miles west of Shrewsbury on the B4393 road in the village of Alberbury.
Cheers

I’ll see if I can make it along, would be good to see the wedge in action.
