Goodbye TVR - thanks for the memories

After two Chimaeras and a late model Tuscan IIS, we have left the TVR community for another in the shape of an '08 Jag XK.

We will always have good memories of our Tivs. Not one let us down over a combined 50K miles plus and each was special.

So, if you see an XK flash/wave at you, wave back, it's only me.

I plan the same switch soon, just waiting for the post '09 5.0 XKR's to come down a little further in price.

I have just bought a Mercedes SL55 AMG which I'm enjoying very much
in the current nice weather, However this purchase means my Chimaera
500 will be up for sale by the end of the week !
Thing is I already know that eventually I'll get bored with the Merc
and will be drawn toward the TVR classifieds again.
Maybe another Tuscan next time who knows ??

The lure of the Big Cat eh! Three years ago I traded my T350c for an XKR. As a GT, the Jag was fantastic, but you know what: I traded it in and now have an even better T350c.

You'll miss the Tiv. Wait until you see one coming the other way and your hand starts to wave, then "no". You are driving a Jag, a very good car, but not quite a TVR.

I drove your car a couple of months ago whilst it was for sale... and I have to say it was the best handling Tuscan that I tried. The cans on it sounded perfect as well

I guarantee you'll be back at some point, but I think the XKR will probably make a good change so best of luck
