Nearest TVR Dealer
Discussion
I've decided to come back to TVR but can't decide between a T350 or a Cerb so I need to take a look at both in the flesh. So to kill 2 birds as they say I thought I'd take a look next bank holiday weekend when I'm staying over at Forest Row....so can anybody tell me where the nearest dealer is to forest row?....Here's where it is on multimap.....

Thanks!

Cheers gents,
I'll take a look to see which is closest and has something I can take a look at.
I used to own a 4.5 LW and I still think they look the dogs....but I've only ever seen 1 T350 in the flesh so need to compare them side by side.
Is there much difference between them when on the road? The T350 just looks a lot easier to drive..

Heavy clutch and steering made it a pain in traffic(used to have a Chim500 with no power steering too!) . Don't get me wrong...I could live with it, but not as easy to drive as an Evo, M3 or 911 around town.....makes up for it on the move though ;->
Edited to say that the Porche an M3 where not mine...I wish!

Hi Rob
Great to see you thinking TVR again.
I hope your lady is well?
Cerb clutches really do vary. My first needed a lead foot, while the new car, with a
new clutch is very light and a real pleasure.
When looking, don't forget James Agger as he's sold about a dozen Cerberas already this year.
T350 sure looks nice...but go on, give the Cerbera another go.

Hi Graham,
Cheers! She is doing well....no lasting effects from our lovely French holiday...even managed a few falls off a snowboard this winter without too much pain so everything must be ok!
I know what you mean about the Cerbera...it is still the only TVR that I really love the look of but I've never seen a Cerbera next to a T350, and I think I need to before I make my mind up...
If it is a Cerbera its going to have to be one of the many Silver colours or perhaps even Crystal Topaz, 18 inch spiders and LW lights...so it's limiting my choice a little at the moment.
Did you know that my old car is back on the road? Not sure where - but I certainly would not want to be driving around in that unless it had a complete new chassis.
Cheers,
Rob

Hi Rob
That's just great you are both doing well.
I think there are a couple of Silver Cerbs up for sale, although I know James has just sold one,
but he has a knack of prizing a car away from it's owner, so worth a try.
Indeed, try a few of both cars if you can before you decide.
Wow, your old one was an insurance write off iirc?
So is it back out as a Cat C or D?
Best of luck in your search and look forward to meeting you one day.

Yep, my old one was considered an 'uneconomic repair', not sure what category it was but damage was considerable, especially as you consider they would not repair a car with a market value of 32K (It was also banana shaped, which probably did not help).
Thanks for reminding me about James Agger, I guess he does all models not just Cerbera?
Woke up this morning with a smile on my face (less of it!)…it’s only a matter of time before I have another TVR….I feel like a kid before Christmas!
As soon as I get one I'll make sure that I attend the next meet and we can comapre notes.
Cheers,
Rob
