There's the old pearl white (probably not the correct description of the colour) press car (I think with a 747 plate). Seen it around Lytham St Annes which was my old stomping ground. Believe there is a guy called Justin on here who knows the owner.

memory lapse. I think the guy I'm referring to is Jason. Lives near Blackpool

That's it - if you check out PH Member Gaffer I think she stated this is the one and only Griff she wanted - I think her dad owned it at one point? (Gaffer - correct?)

At the risk of getting flamed I don't think Griffs suit light colours. I quite like mine but whenever I see a darker colour I think mean

The pearlesent white press griff was run by my dad along with most of the press cars.

Its now owned by Jason Cook who is in Lytham.

I would love to own it but I don't have enough of the finances to run any TVR and besides I don't think Jason is up for selling it.

Wonder if he will loan it out...?

There was another pearlesent white griff around a few years after dads but it was a brighter white than the press griff even though the paint mix was exactly the same.

Nice. I used to see Jason around a bit when I lived in Lytham. I was just around the corner (literally) from someone who works in development at the factory. He used to get some nice toys to bring home, inlcuding the very early purple Tuscan R (as was) with I think a Tuscan S spec speed 6 installed. The car had an engraving on the window saying "Pre-production prototype" or something. Bloody noisy!

Thanks for this, A mate of mine ask me to put this thread on here as he is trying to find someone he met when he was buying his 500 Chimaera, He said he had a white griff and his nick name was "Rhubarb". Thanks again, Q1
