Well given that summer appears to have arrived I'm going to pop over to the SEL KEnt meet at Dunton Green tomorrow evening for some of this...

Anyone else who fancies a blat over to Kent, a farmyard in a bun (TM) and a sound-off in the Dartford Tunnel, meet me at the Thurrock Services for a 19:00 depart...

Seems like some of the Mid-Essex crowd set off early and went the wrong way... cue Dave + Diane in Peebles today. Don't they know which way Kent is?

I may make it.

Just put the car away and there was a bit of smoke from under the bonnet.

Lifted the bonnet and there was smoke coming from in front of the right hand bank of cylinders.
Seemed like burning oil
It stopped after about 30 seconds.
When I pushed down on the front wing it seemed to smoke again briefly, (as if it had pooled somewhere).

It's not doing it now, but I'll be bu99ered if I can see where it is coming from.

It's going in for a new Sump gasket anyway on Saturday so I'll get them to look for any further leaks then.

Alan - saw you along the seafront this afternoon, sounded like a V8 mate!

You'll be fine... mine is filthy - apart from the odd clean patch where I've removed bird sh*t...

Pies used to be the king of shine... but his tabloid exploits of late have tarnished his reputation... - www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?f=23&h=&t=98339

Fatboy Chim - er.. it's not too difficult to find a bunch of TVR's... I'll give you a a bit later.

Nope, due to the recent bad luck suffered by a large number of my fellow Le Mans-ers and the fact there isnt a lot of time to get things fixed before Le Mans, mine is staying put !!!!!

I dont want to end up driving the second support van !!!
