1998 Motor Show

Good luck with the search, my Griff was at the 2000 motor show, but all the reports at the time show the new (blue) Tamora. I'd assume 1998 was the new Tuscan year.
TVR did issue a press pack at each motor show, this included some pictures - some of which were issued as post cards. Google might help here. As the first SE, mine was in some of the pictures - and also a light blue one.
After the show the cars were often used by the dealers as part of their demonstrator allocation - mine went to The TVR Centre. Assuming yours is on a T plate, it must of been kept unregistered until March 99, so possibly at the suppling dealer.

Last four digits are 2218. I've got a TVR spec sheet, the order date is 06/07 98, date in build is 09/07 98. It says in the special notes 'please ensure all items which could be stolen are secured' and 'please disconnect alarm for show'.

Hi stalkydog - i have five build sheets pinned together for your car , each one updating the previous one, the first four have "TVR FACTORY SHOW" as the destination/customer - the last sheet has TEAM CENTRAL STOCK.

Thank you very much for your help, please do forward the info, it will be very interesting. It sounds a bit like the car was intended for show, but did it actually get there?, or did it go straight to become a showroom/ demonstrator for Central. The car has lots of hints that it was intended for show, right down to the word "show" handwritten on the back of the light surrounds,but it would be good to find out what actually happened. Do you know of a way of finding out if it got to the show?, it may have done as it would have been the start of the boot/rear light change models.
