On the A53 between Buxton and Leek, heading towards Leek, just after Flash village there is a flagpole with a large black & White TVR flag. Is this going to be the new TVR Headquarters? Or is there another reason? Is it someone on here?

Yes, the track did look a bit rough for cars with only a few inches ground clearance. If it is the new TVR headquarters, perhaps the first new model is going to be a 4x4?rofl

I know its a late reply but thats my flag. Didn't know anyone had commented on it until today when it was mentioned when out on a Peak District run with the Staffs and Shrops region.

Why a TVR flag? .... Had a flag pole!.

Tend to alternate between ST George and TVR. Depends on how strong the wind is. I've already lost 2 St Georges but the TVR flag is still going strong, if a little frayed.
The driveway has to be taken slowly in the TVR. However the 4x4 TVR (it says Land Rover on the outside but its the same engine underneath) takes the bumps with ease.

Hopefully it will continue to amuse/confuse people.

No one can see it at the moment as we have very thick cloud cover.
The flag will have to be retired soon, if it gets any more tattered it will be a TV flag.

I've just ordered a new St George flag from the Hampshire flag co. Will see how long it lasts before a custom order. Flags don't last very long up here.
