YEP It was us !!!!! We are back now, And we have to say that the roads up north are fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't say on here, but it was the fastest i had ever driven or been driven in my life.....

Thanks to everyone that we met up with at the borders bash. I think Diane will always remember "Dukie" A real tall guy(sorry i cant remember your name),who owned a blue T350c with a very nice sounding exhaust.
We covered Nearly 2000 miles last week, and the car never missed a beat(apart from the steering wheel coming off again!)

it was good to meet both of you as well, glad you enjoyed your holiday.

Scottish roads aren't THAT fast - they are just super-scary because of the big drops on one side and the big rocky hillside on the other.

Hi tvrgit( i wish i could remember your name too!!).
We never saw another TVR until we started to head towards Glasgow on our way home, and Diane was convinced that it was a Chim that had been with us on the "bash" perhaps the owner could conform this, as he was stuck in an almighty jam heading north on the A82 near lock lomond.

Yes please!!!! we both found the borders bash so exciting, as i had never driven so fast with so many cars on such wonderful and empty roads.
It spoiled us a bit, because you just cant drive a TVR like that in Essex....(well i can't!!).
So please keep us informed, so that we can attend the GNR in september.
If you don't have my e mail Address, you can do it via my profile.
Thanks again for a very memorable day's blatting!!
