9 owners in 13 years.

No mention of the crash that led to that front end.

Starting bid of 10,000.

Genuinely think there is an extra zero in there.

I like Tuscans. I like Chimaeras. I'm not so sure about this one; having said that, it might seem better balanced in real life. Each to their own, but not for me......

I'm trying to get my head around this one! Is that an original Chim bonnet with an extra peice blended in on the front? Is the whole bonnet actually from a Tuscan?

Other thread closed so.................

It's naff. If you want a Tuscan, buy one. As I said elsewhere, Lexus lights were the thin end of the wedge (pun intended). As the cars get older and some get cheaper I suppose they become more prone to being barried.

When I bought my first TVR someone warned me they couldn't be maintained on 'Mondeo money', unfortunately more people seem to be trying to do just that.

True and sad. However, over time values will split and we'll see a two tier Market of well valued unfettled, garaged etc cars and those that have been completely buggered.

With the chassis jigs back and the moulds coming back there won't exactly be a big issue buying a wreck for less than wedge prices and restoring it to better than original.

I don't dislike it at all from these pics, but would prefer seeing it from all angles before my final judgement.
How do the two ends match? Would like to see the profile.
Had TVR produced this car (Chimaera update 2004?), we would probably have no criticism at all.

The screens of the Griffs and Chimps are far more vertical and I think it is this that will make it look very odd without the more classic nose.
