Wedding Favour - Blackpool

Hello

This may be a long shot but I'm getting married next April 27th (friday) and wondered whether any owners in the blackpool area would be willing to transport myself, best man, father, father in law and my son to the wedding venue in Singleton.

I have a long history with TVR having worked for them for 4 years from 1996 under Terry Lendrim in the Development department assisting with homologation and other developments in the workshop. Living just around the corner from the factory it's sad to have seen it's demise over the years but the rumble of a TVR V8 still gets the juices flowing!

As I said it's a long shot but I would be very grateful if anyone could help me

Would love to help, but Fridays are not usually good for me and I'm not able to commit at this time.

I'm also afraid that mine is only a Speed 6 so doesn't have the V8 sound you're looking for...

I'll send an email to the Blackpool TVRCC RO and see if anything can be organised.

A well tuned speed six is the equal of a V8, even more so if it has been decatted!
I was in Glasgow city centre and an American couple said to they thought the car sounded " Awesome" the guy said he thought he was in the middle of Baghdad during shock and awe!!!

Anything is possible but next Aprils's a while off to commit at the moment but I'd potentially be up for helping out

I'd be also happy to help, as said previously, it is a while off, but as things stand at the moment it'd be a pleasure to help out.
When I say . .as things stand at the moment. I mean work, not up for a change of car, thats for sure.

Hi John, I will ask at our next club meeting this coming Sunday for volunteers. I will be able to help and I'm sure so will some of the other members. Why don't you come down to the Fairfield arms, just off J3 of the M55, on the last Sunday of the month and meet some of the ex TVR lads who are members of the club. I'm sure you will know some of them.

I will e mail back to you when I have spoken top the members.
