How many bottles do you want Dave? I bring some back from the US every year ($9.43 (£5.25) instead of £15.00) and I have a couple over right now.

Dave,
Be interested to see what you think of it in your T350. Having had good results with our Chim, I thought I would see if I could drop the temperature a little in the T350, but it seemed to make little or no difference....
Sorry Colin, not trying to hurt sales!!!!!

I tried TWO large bottles in mine (because the first one did nothing!) and it's made bu66er all difference. Glad I'm not the only one.

just about to try it in the chim for le mans. Thats along with the leven cooling kit of new otter switch and thermostat + a small front number plate. Hope it brings down the temp as last year was a nightmare.

Thanks guys. I was hoping to get some to put in for LeMans colin, as we are in the drivers parade.
I have now been told that castle stock it.
But now i'm confused, because i have read before that it don't always work. So far the car has never over heated ,and believe me we have been in a jam or two ie...four hours anti clock wise M25, and with hot air coming from the air con.So i think i will try without.
Thanks everyone for your help

If you reduce the amount of antifreeze in the system you will end up with better cooling for lemans remember to top up on returning

the reson it didn't work is probably because your cooling system was able to keep the temp down already .. you cna't lower the temp any lower than the thermostat operating temperature .. unless it's the depths of winter and the block loses enough temp to affect that.
It will work very very well if your cooling system is on it's limit, or you're trying to disguise a radiator which is past it's best before you sell the car!! lol...
if you're having to use it it's usually to disguise a fault ..

however .. I use it a lot, not for those reasons, but because it's relatively cheap and is a usefull aid to providing a buffer for older TVRs in the height of summer, or for cars on which I've just changed a major cooling system component or drained the collant for some reason .. it lowers the surface tension of the water and chases out air pockets better if you add it, so bleeding systems back to full efficiency takes less time.

very useful on cerberas which are notoriously difficult to get bled fully.

Im sure the experts will confirm but, it has to without anti-freeze to get the full benefit ? And with ally engines that is not possible ? Still might give it a go though, maybe after the experts comment.

i thought if you run more anti-freeze the engine runs cooler

I know of someone who runs 100% anti-freeze in his race bikes.

less antifreeze = better heat transfer as the co efficient of antifreeze is higher than water

Anti freeze acts as a summer coolant as long as it's ethylene glycol based which most are.

anti-freeze is a coolant, but is not as good as water.
less a/f = better cooling.
it not unusual for dealers to err on caution and overdo the a/f to protect the block. this reduces efficiency...check your own.

your mate is probably using a specialist coolant that does both.

you can run on pure w/w, but its not worth it finacially.

I bet you don't, the ACU would go mental at scrutineering if they found a bike running anti freeze let alone neat anti freeze. Unless he's simply running a race bike as a track day toy that is

Water Wetter works best with reduced or no antifreeze content. Just tipping it into a heavy antifreeze mix is pretty much a waste of money. If you want to use it add to neat water instead of antifreeze. For winter use - use antifreeze!

What is the problem with antifreeze in a race bike, excuse me asking??
