You drive a what!!

Just ran into a bunch of people I went to school with in the pub, whilst I'm down home. They asked:
"You still driving your mini?"
"Kind of, it layed up at the moment, I'm driving my second car."
Then one of them went off into how he had just bought a BMW 318 Coupe. £23K, 0 - 60mph in 10.2 seconds etc etc.
After a little while one of them said,
"So Chris, what are you driving these days? Your parent's Polo?"
"TVR." I replied.
He just stared at me and said
"You drive a what?"
"A TVR."
"As in, Blackpool TVR?"
"Yep."
"Is it out side? Can we see it?"
All 3 of their jaws hit the ground when they saw it. It gave me a little warm glow to know that my car was £14K cheaper than the BMW, faster, better looking and a whole better sounding.

On the bad side, I ground the exhaust really badly on the way home and now have to raise the car tomorrow, as well as sort out my disc changer, ariel and exhaust.
