Taking your TVR to New Zealand?

Hello TVR lovers

The New Zealand govt recently made bringing a TVR into the country much more difficult. It varies with the model and age, but there is quite a queue of owners pushing to be allowed to register cars that have already landed. I know of at least 11 TVRs in this difficult situation.

There is a lot of goodwill there for TVRs in NZ, but individuals cannot press hard enough to break the logjam. However as a concerted group able to lobby and make publicity, ultimately we cannot be stopped!

I am gathering information for the purpose of making a combined case to the Land Transport Safety Authority in New Zealand and to any other agencies, government departments or individuals who can bring pressure to bear on our behalf.

If anyone is finds themselves in this situation, or is contemplating taking a TVR to NZ, please contact me and lend your weight to the lobby. You WILL receive a reply!
