Please tell me the Rover pearlescent Amaranth is not the same as the Purple Paradise used by TVR?

No offence to the PP owners, but it looks a little too 'bling' for me. The Amaranth Cerb for sale with Mr Agger looks a little toned down in comparison. But then he took the photos of his car in the early evening by the looks of things.

I've printed off a couple of pictures, and am having serious worries now!

i dont think it is. I think paradise purple is the bright "bling" colour you describe that can look almost like pink - eh craig

the amaranth is a more blue purple and a deeper shade.

Nope, completely different.

Armaranth is a Rover colour whereas Paradise is mixed for TVR...

You've illustrated my point exactly, the top pic was taken early evening, it's going to look darker. I'm just trying to call to mind all those Rover's I've seen trundling off to collect the pension!

I'm sure the Amaranth isn't just as dark as that.

Amaranth is the colour you see a LOT of MGF's in, its got a bit of a blue flip to it, whereas Paradise hasnt its a straight metallic...

No, that's British Racing Green Matt or that sickly red, not the amaranth ... I think the Amaranth was the least chosen MGF colour ...
