Sell new Tuscans, Tamoras, etc. in the USA to offset the decline in orders for the exisitng model line. The home market gets the new cutting edge TVR's first and, gets to finish off the development of the new models as well!
The Tuscan R will be an awesome car!

That's not far off what I was thinking.....

I think they will announce they are returning to the US with a new model, and then take the requisite 2 years to do it... !

I hope at least...

Saw it on the back of a trailer on Tower Bridge circa 18.30. Metallic Red and road-registered - looks pretty stunning. What a pity you can't remove the roof!

Regarding the new modell:

If TVR will not loose their image to produce seriously fast cars for little money, they have to launch a faster modell.

All the major manufacturers will launch new relatively cheap supercars:

1. BMW Coupe as a Z8 replacement with a 550bhp V10

2. AM DB5 with standard 350 and charged 450 bhp

3. Baby Lambo

4. New 360 Modena with a tuned Maserati V8 producing 450-470 bhp

5. Ford GT40 with 550 bhp

6. Volkswagen Nardo with 600 bhp

All these cars are priced between 100000 and 150000 Euro compared with 110000 Euro for a Tuscan R

What do you think???

I'm awaiting a 500-550 bhp V10 Coupe, priced around 60000GBP.

And yes, here is my cheque book Mr. Wheeler...

I hear the colour is Tizer Orange! I also hear the bodyshell which is made of Carbon Fibre only weighs 27kg! Wow!

Now with all this development, better components etc, and it all costing only £20,000 more than a Tuscan, do you think they can make a Tuscan S in Carbon Fibre?

How much can you get for a kidney these days.

Just when I set myself up for the financial burden of a Cerb they come along and do this.

A marvellous car in every way, you're a lucky man Christof!

looks rather good. i just hope the boyz will keep the production numbers RIGHT down, and protect residuals. looks good value relative to 58k for a fully kitted cerbie (as per hawthorns web site)

I heard of its wearabouts too late unfortunately. Apparently it was quite close to PH HQ at one point in the last few days...

I hope its not in the state of the one I saw at the GT's at Snetterton last year. I know it was probably the first public car but it was in an awful state !!

Nice looking car agreed but the quality of the finish was terrible. It was still as bad at Rockingham !!

I imagine this time it won't have an ill fitting windscreen with the seal hanging off, poor paintwork and body panel fit etc etc etc

My dad just turned round and said "thats why I don't bother to buy another TVR if they're prepared to let that be seen in public as a future car !"

I'd like one though

Plotloss,

not so lucky at the moment. Business is not so good and the resale value of second hand TVR's are also very down.

We will see what happen...

Christof*want a R, but need somebody to buy his beastie...
