If your insurance company are going to pay for a bodywork repair to your tiv, surely, if money's no object (thier money), you would send it back to blackpool for the repair.

Does the factory do bodywork repairs ?

If so, will the insurance company let me send it there ?

Just had a thought, Basil Brush was in exactly the same situation when his car was damaged. AFAIK the insurance company agreed to have it repaired at the factory.

After seeing the quality of paint finish on some new cars coming out of Blackpool (including mine) I'm not convinced it is the best place to send your pride and joy. Some of the other specialist GRP repair places like Ewelme Coachworks/TVR Bodyshop might be better (I have not used either, just going on comments on their work posted on this site).

Thanks chim girl, has he had the car back yet ?

Thanks Trefor, Ewelme seem to get a lot of good feed back.

If anyone's got any negatives to Blackpool or Ewelme an email would be appreciated,

thanks again

Close to you is Central TVR in Wordsley. They are very good as well, as just been for minor paint job and then new rear lights. Advertise in Sprint as Fibreon.
