With winter on the way,I was wondering how long you can leave a trickle charger (accumate) connected to the cigarette lighter on my chimaera?

My Chim has the accumate connected to it every time it is in the garage. Often left on for a few weeks at a time depending on weather, holiday, work commitments etc.

Can't you just leave it on when not in use?

My Accumate is on all the time, but during the winter, apart from the odd dry day here and there to give the car a run, it sits in the garage from early November through to early March. Been like it for 7 years smile
