If I remember correctly, it takes 3 years to clear your points in your license.
Are they taking you to Court? My mate did over 100mph in the middle of the night on M1, pleaded guilty with a humble statement. The judge let him off with 6 points and a £500 fine. It depends on the circumstance of the your speeding I guess.

It all depends upon the exact timescale of your last offence, it will only stay valid for for four years so may well have been cleared. If that is the case hopefully you will get away with a hefty fine and nine points.
I just checked, the endorsement stays on the license is 4 years, but only 3 years period for totting up the points. www.pepipoo.com/Penalty_points.htm

General rule of thumb (obviously take heed of the word 'general')....30mph over the limit means a ban but with good mitigation (e.g clean licence/ no previous convictions you might survive a ban if you are slightly over the 30mph 'watershed')
Bottom line is, it depends on the circumstances. Speeding in a 30 area tends to be frowned upon more because by the very nature of the fact it's a 30 zone, it means typically, it's a built up area. So a magistrate may take into account time of day, road conditions, proximity of schools etc etc.
An early guilty plea may also benefit you as it will be deemed not to waste the court's time by having to have it listed.

I did a Ride Drive course back in May. The 'assessor' was ex-Class 1 .....and still keeps in touch with the local Traffic boys in Hampshire.
During the day, ha said that in the main the 'watershed' for a prosecution is plus 2 mph and plus 10% - so for m-ways that means 79 mph. However, he did qualify that statement that if the driver was behaving/driving like a total eejit, then there would not be any leeway.
So, I guess as you were a fair bit over the watershed, it will be points and a fine.

I was copped doing 86mph on the slip road of the M6 at Carlisle a couple of weeks back and was offered a
speed awareness course. The stuff came through a couple of days ago and I can book one near me.
Fee varies from £69-£90 depending on where you take it and the course lasts approx 4 hours.
I already have six points so this option was very welcome.

Yup - did one on Monday and the "trainer" confirmed they are increasing the "offering"So anything up to 42 in a 30 will get you an offer of a 'Speed Awareness Course' that is completely classroom based as they no longer take you out onto the roads for an assessment.
