My car is returned from the mechanic tonight so cleaned tomorrow afternoon and then BBQ tomorrow night before heading off early am on Thursday!

Flasher, is there any spare seats from you lot when you pass mine to the ferry port on Thursday? Mel is looking at going straight to pompey and I have 2 people needing lifts to the port from mine.

Just got back from 3 weks in France - absolutely ffffantastic! Came through Le Mans mid afternoon yesterday - no cameras, no 'les flics', no problems, and back again early next week - Schnozz - will speak to you before you go.

Have a good one chaps, there will be a small corner of Sutton-In-Ashfield that will be twinned with La Sarthe for the weekend
The paddleing pool is full, the fridge is full, and we may even have a tent in the back garden depending on how much beer lairyness there is on Saturday night
Wish I'd made a bit more effort to go, but things were against it car wise and health wise, but a great weekend is planned back home and 'the ring' will be visited due to the ferry ticket being non transferable
Keep it safe lads, and don't come back with too many 'Euro Fines' but don't drive like little old ladies either

Schnozz, yes, got your text, thanks. Unfortunately, was too pissed to read it for a couple of days, and then too pissed to send a reply, plenty of tales to tell, the house is all ok (ish), put about 3,000 plants in, mowed a few acres, and it's home

Steve - thanks for your well wishes. I have no doubt you guys will have a superb weekend in the UK with nice weather on the horizon. Shame you can't go but there is always next year and this year you can experience something different by going to the ring.
