Second car insurance
Discussion
I've just taken out a limited milage policy with Classicline insurance and now need a 2nd car to do the rest of the miles in.
I'm going to buy my mates G reg Celica to do the boring miles in!
I just phoned Classicline and they (apparently) have no provision for a 2nd (ordinary) car.
So does anyone know of a decent insurance company that will mirror the NCB that I'm using on the Tiv, as I don't really fancy starting over.
Cheers

GOOD NEWS!! Just phoned classicline and asked if I could use my NCB with other companies and they said that because it's a specialist TVR policy with limited milage, the policy doesn't use my NCB anyway!!
Cool, thats just saved me about £800!!

Edit, thanks JonRB

hang on am I reading this right??
there are insurance comapnies that will do a limited mileage policy and will let you use the NCB that you are already using on another car.
I thought they had to be seperate?
If I understand correctly, there are some insurance companies that will mirror the NCB. We went with Admiral for the TVR. We already had insurance with them for our existing car. The NCB is mirrored and the best thing is that if it stays like that for a minimum of a year, you're free to move insurace company and take second NCB with you (thereby accumulating a second full NCB - bargain !). The only rule was that you could not protect the NCB on the second car. I think that's right ... !
