Interesting.

Anyone in hampshire got a Griff with Nitrons?
Id like to feel what its like. Want to make sure it can be set soft enough for touring.

Nope, but I m round the corner in Surrey and had Nitrons about 2 months back and love them.

At first I only noticed how much better the handling was on bends carrying a bit of speed. The car was more secure and less jittery on bad road surfaces.

Now that I have had longer to play I can say on the straights there is more stability, less tramlining, and also less pitch when accelerating or braking.

... and she will get a good test Thursday as I head to Le Mans.

Anyone had the sports exhaust conversion? Is it worth it and waht does it entail? After hearing Suffolkfox's exhaust (I know its a Cerby) I think ours needs some added thump.

Usually Steve down there does the following :

Opens the cans
Removes a bit of wadding
Puts in straight through pipes

he did this to my chimp a while ago.

It sounded like a big boat on idle, and was LOUD, motorway speeds it had a bit more bass but not too much.

In all, well worth doing

Guys - you need to distinguish between:

Thames Valley Racetech, based in Sonning Common, who have the special offers and are the subject of the article above, and

Thames Valley Racing, based in Hurst, run by Steve Howard (who also runs Insane Racing)

To make matters even more complicated, Steve used to work at Racetech, before returning to Hurst and trading under the name Precision Racing for a while, and now back as Thames Valley Racing.
