Back Home Performance - Fantastic yet again!!
Discussion
Nick's just been to do some work on his S2 at Back Home Performance in Blackpool, which is run by former TVR workers Dave Bradley and Kirsty McNaught.
The work involved a full engine, gearbox, and diff oil change, realignment and re-enforcement of the bonnet hinges, a move back to the lower rated springs (Nick found it simply too hard on its new ones!), a full ride height set up, tracking and camber, as well as re-setting the tappet clearances, repainting the rocker covers, replacing the rocker cover gaskets, repairing the passenger side door handle and reattaching the door card, and very importantly having the injectors cleaned (thanks must go to Jonathan Greenwood and Brian Hosfield for the quick turn around on those).
Dave took the time to show Nick a few tips and tricks; without losing his rag with Nick, which as we all know is a difficult thing to manage!! ;-). Nick's just walked back through the door beaming, the car apparently going and handling better than it has ever done before, and he is safe in the knowledge that his car is now sorted.
All in all, the service is top notch, so if you're just popping by to say hello and have a brew, or fancy proper ex-TVR staff taking care of your car to the highest possible standards, then BHP is the place to go!
