Which TVR are you interested in?
My own personal view is that there is very little variation in prices throughout the year. Most TVR's are bought (and sold) by real enthusiasts for the marque who do not buy at a particular time of the year. They buy when they find a particular car that is right for them.
Similarly, if I was selling one of my cars, it would be advertised at the same price in November as it would be in May. That is because it would most likely go to someone who has previous experience of TVR's or has hankered for one for a long time and has done his/ her homework about what they want/ can afford etc. I don't personally think that there are many buyers who know very little about the cars, decide one day they fancy a 'soft top' and buy on a whim.
Do your research, decide on your budget (for the car AND yearly costs) and then start looking for your car. But do not expect a vast price change in cars now that we are heading for autumn...

Makes little difference what season you buy in, although you may find it harder to get your offers excepted around spring.
Fernhurst motor company do their best to keep values stable and above by posting five or six adds at a time, and always over inflated prices with three small standard pics but you'll get the same car private for much less.
I bought both my Griffs private and did all my home work before hand. I went to see five or six before hand.
My second Griff, I bought in November 2006, again, no seasonal price difference but I do feel I was able to make a better offer due to summer being over.
I fancy another Griff but one that needs TLC, I'm thinking body off job.
