Road trip - suggestions please

All, a few fellow TVRers and I are planning a road trip on to the continent year but have nonidea where to go. See some great snippets of trips on here but would be interested to hear of any tried and tested trips for a week or so.

Ferry down to Bilbao or Santander.

The roads are empty, pretty much police free and were designed to be driven by TVR's

I'm trying to plan one at the moment - going over to Normandy in September then wondering what to do from there - returning from Dunkirk 3 days later so will probably go across France (maybe taking in Reims and Verdun) then I'm a bit lost....I think the Black Forest will be a bit too far which is a shame.
