After my little carjacking experience, I was wondering if I was due an upturn in luck, hmmmmm....

11 weeks have now passed & the insurance company rang saturday, to say "a rep is coming to see it on wednesday"

As the car's been parked up for that period, I spent all day yesterday charging the battery, with a view to driving to Ewelme this morning to get a quote for the body repair.

Watched the England game, ****, & set off to the old man's house to drop off the works keys.

A combination of not driving the car for a few weeks & my own stupidity have led me to drive over one of those metal bollards,

Cue 65 quids worth of oil p***ing out on to the road in 3 seconds flat.

On the plus side, I was delivering a bag of cat litter to him, which came in handy for soaking up the oil

Spare box of matches, anybody ???

Horizon are recovering it today, I switched the engine off instantly so fingers crossed.

I'd imagine it's a hole in the sump, anybody had the same ????

oo oo oo good news, I've surgically removed the sump plug...

oo oo oo bad news, the new plug's going to have to be a foot wide to fit the f***ing big hole I've ripped out,

Slight exaggeration,

many thanks to Mike @ Horizon motorsport, my car's personal trainer
