I want to fit a drivers bucket seat, for a bit more support on trackdays, what has anyone else fitted?

Not much fits easily, but we got away with a sparco sprint 5 in the end. Still got it somewhere, took it out when we sold the car. Would consider an offer on it, can get pics tomorrow - currently half way up mount snowdon. (me, not the seat.) smile

Can't be sure but didn't someone fit these to a Cerbera?

I've got these in my 205, great seat.
Brummie I'd definitely recommend trying a few before u but as it was quite suprising just how different bucket seats can feel/fit as there's so little padding.

I'd look at the Imolas and also maybe some from an exige as I think these are quite thin so should fit ok.

I put 2 Corbeau GTA Clubman seats in my M, in 1993*. These had seat bases narrow enough to fit. Not much else did. In the USA, some sanctioning groups guidelines may not pass this seat. There are rules as to metal reinforcing, and I don't know this seat to comply.

Best.

There's not many that will fit - either the base is too wide for the tunnel (which you could cut a bit out of) or the shoulders hit the window. I can't recall what model I got in the end but they are Sparco so maybe the same ones as BCA.

Don't know how good they are, but they do have TVR specific sections and equipment for fitting various seats like Cobra and Sparco.

You need to hunt around on the site a bit for all the TVR bits, but they seem to have catered for TVRs previously.

Not entirely sure, about £100? and need to find it first!! It is black.

To be honest, I didnt like it - the seat was fantatic on track, but a bit too awkward for a daily driver. We mounted it on the standard runners IIRC, so it was adjustable still. It just about fit... there are others that will fit, but quite a few of them will rub against the door when closed! eek

The elise/exige seats shout is a good one by kitcaralarmblair. Not sure why no one has gone this route with a TVR yet??

Take a look for "Ridgard" seats.

I used to weld the frames a few yrs ago and can confirm the build quality is good.

We used to buy sparcos/cobras and others and pull em to bits to see what they were like.

Shoddy to say the least.

Also perhaps take a look also at the Tillett B5's that are retrofit for an Elise.
