I know seal kits are readily available but anyone ever sourced replacement inner springs for the Girling master cylinders (like on the Griff and Chim)?

Just when you're standing there, with the toes of your left foot poking over the edge and your right leg ready to make the jump out, the sunlight bursts out upon your tired, old face.

Thanks chaps !

Pupp, I think it's gonna take me a week to work out what to order from that page but THANKS for posting it.

Sunset beckons.
(just wish I had a flippin' clutch)

Oh, and by the way, I asked for a new clutch to be fitted to the car when I bought her at 32K. It lasted 40K and since then I've replaced every component on subsequent fails, spanning 30K.

The reservoir continually 'picks up' failing seal debris so I just hope that it's the Master this time round.
Do you think that different hydraulic oil specs attack the seals more rapidly ?
I have 4.0 in at the mo'.

Paul
I have been told that synthetic fluid destroys the seals,i have put 3 clutch-master cylinders on my Cerb in the last 3 years,i used DOT 5 last time but its no better than DOT 4 and i have been recommended to use DOT 4.

Al. wink
