Farewell.........for now.
Discussion
Today has been an awfull day, after a lot of deliberation, arguing ,and heartache, I have had to put my beloved TVR Chim up for sale. Unfortunately recently I have sustained an injury which has created a major problem for me in getting into and out of the Chim, my size was always an issue but at least I used to be able to glide in with ease and once in I was very comfortable.I hate to have her sat outside unable to be used and enjoyed, especially with the huge amount of work I have had done to it, it's so frustrating. I've had immense fun with it and enjoyed the pleasure of driving so much that even though it has been a very tough decision to decide to sell, I will hopefully one day soon, maybe a couple of years from now when my back is in better shape , get another TVR maybe a Tuscan maybe a Cerbera. There are a few of you heading up to Track-V-Road soon which is where she is being sold from as due to hospital commitments and such I do not have the time to sell, and the superb guys up there know her so well, please say hello to her , missing her already.
Just want to add a big thanks to you guys here on the TVR forums who have supplied invaluable info and advice when required and quality banter of which to read, good luck to you all and happy motoring I really hope to be with you all again soon. Tony.

Best of luck with sale and recovery.
Like the Aston. Am sorely tempted to go from TVR to Aston next. Been putting off going to another marque for years but I must do it before I get too old and smelly.
Some might consider the average Aston owner should be old and smelly as a pre requisite Like the Aston. Am sorely tempted to go from TVR to Aston next. Been putting off going to another marque for years but I must do it before I get too old and smelly.
On a more sensible note, i do like DB9's....but im resisting as my wife wants one too and i dont want her to know she got her own way and the Tuscan went because of her....does that make me a git?! oh well
To the OP, best of luck, you will miss the Chim im sure
